Porvair indicators are designed and manufactured using proven robust design techniques to ensure resistance against the most severe of pressure and vibration environments.
Indication can be by means of a visual or electrical output, or a combination of both variants. Visual indication is provided by means of a red coloured pop-up button that remains in the actuated position until manually reset. Electrical outputs can be provided by flying lead or a wide variety of standard and bespoke electrical connectors.
Further to standard differential pressure indicators and dependent on specification requirements, Porvair can incorporate additional design features such as:
Thermal lockout
Non-reset mechanisms
Surge damping

Features and benefits
Porvair Filtration Group are able to integrate filtration accessories into their valve body or manifold. We can manufacture filter kits, made up of parts which may include:
Filter elements and bowls
Porvair Filtration Group supply a range of sintered metal mesh, sintered metal fibre, glass fibre, polymeric or resin-impregnated cellulose pleated elements.
Differential pressure indicators
Our indicators are designed and manufactured using proven robust design techniques to ensure resistance against the most severe of pressure and vibration environments.
Valves (anti-drain, by-pass, etc)
Porvair Filtration Group manufacture a range of valves that can be incorporated into filter assemblies and manifolds including anti drain valves that prevent the loss of system fluid during filter element change.
Filter Assemblies for the Aerospace Industry
Porvair Filtration Group manufactures filter assemblies for hydraulic, fuel, lubrication and cooling systems.
These include:
All filter assemblies are qualified and tested in our extensive test facility to ensure they are fully compliant with customer specifications.
Typical applications
Porvair Filtration Group manufacture a range of pleated filter elements for the aerospace and defence industries. These are used for critical contamination control in a variety of aircraft systems.
The filter media for pleated elements can be polymeric, glass fibre or sintered metal fibre used in combination with a variety of support and drain meshes to optimise cost and performance. Typical absolute filtration ratings are 5, 10, 15 and 25 micron with a Beta ratio greater than 200.
Our Sinterflo® M metal mesh pleated filters demonstrate good permeability, high tensile strength and are available in complex multi-layered structures. These filters are cleanable under specific conditions, which can be defined by a member of Porvair FIltration Group's sales team.
Porvair Filtration Group also supply a range of sintered metal fibre, glass fibre, polymeric or resin-impregnated cellulose pleated elements.
